Joseph (Jo) has a British Forces background. He ended my stint in the Army as a PTI  (Physical Training Instructor) establishing on entrance to the forces that his passion was training. On leaving the Armed Forces Jo spent a couple of years in the oil fields off the North Sea in the field of Filtration Engineering. It was fun and a good way to transition from the forces but it wasn’t for Jo. Jo was driven by the desire to Coach in the Health and Fitness Industry. Merging his background with a private sector coaching career ever since. Jo has looked at a few different martial arts over the years.

“I’ve never had the desire to master any of these disciplines… happy to jump in and learn the basics. There is nothing better than teaching someone good self-defense systems, Building confidence and dexterity gives me major satisfaction”

“I love Coaching all levels of individuals from, novice to advanced in strength and conditioning, bodybuilding, Weight management, and general fitness and well-being…a bit of kicking and punching for self-defense and conditioning is great too”

“I get a big kick out of rehabilitating broken bodies back into peak condition. People returning into training from injury and of course fixing people up in the Core, shoulders, Rotator Cuff, upper back, and lower back zones, where either work/lifestyle has damaged their posture. Giving these simple usually unconsidered issues the right attention, leading them back to a better quality of life is a very cool thing indeed”
